My Skin Care Routine

Here are the moisturizers I use.  hope in a jar tends to make my face oily through out the day (they have a formulation that is oil free that I am excited to try next!) so I decided to go back to my Garnier Moisture Rescue.  It is a "refreshing gel cream", and I promise you, they stay true to their claim.  The smell is very clean and fresh.  My skin feels so hydrated and smooth after I use it.  This is perfect for those of you who have oily skin.  I used it this past summer while I was in Greece and my skin was flawless (I think the Greece weather/low humidity levels may have had something to do with it too. ha But anywhoo, I still use my hope in a jar as a heavier night cream.

I got the eye hope in a set and when I remember (I know I'm terrible), I'll use it.  It has a very light weight, almost greasy texture.  And when I say greasy I mean the consistency, not like it is actually greasy.   Your skin soaks it right up and I do feel that it helps.  If you're in your twenties like me, you may want to start thinking about eye creams as a preventative measure against wrinkles.  My mom and her sisters preach to me all the time that now is the time to start!

I use these two product for basic make up removal.  If I've gone out or worn more makeup than I usually wear through out the day I use the MAC Cleanse Off Oil.  Don't be freaked out that it is an "oil."  It's 100% mineral oil free and the oils are of "olive fruit, evening primrose and jojoba seed."  I talked with a MAC consultant before officially buying it.  Like I said, I have oily skin and wanted to make sure it wasn't going to add even more.  She said she used it at night to remove make and nothing else.  While I think it gets the job done, I still like to follow up with my cleansing routine...

I saved the absolute best for last!  My cleansing regimen has been the same since the end of last December.  I was given the Clarisonic Mia for Christmas and seriously, haven't been able to put it down.  I got the jaguar print just because I thought it was a bit different and it almost looks like a tortoise shell print (which I love!).  I'm not a huge animal print gal but I just went for it!

I use Philosophy's purity with it and MY GOD, they are a gorgeous duo!  My skin has never been so clear.  I don't want to tell you that I haven't had any break outs because that's just unrealistic, mine are mostly hormonal/stress induced.  But I will tell you that my pores have shrunk tremendously, my skin is so smooth and I've noticed that makeup goes on a lot more naturally.

I know the Clarisonic brushes are a bit on the expensive side, they are such a wonderful investment for your skin.  Once you pay the initial price, you only have to pay for a new brush piece every few months.

I hope this was helpful and please comment if you love any of these products as well.  Let me know how YOU use them.  Also feel free to ask any additional questions I did not cover.  Thanks lovelies!!
